ACUX Typology: A Harmonisation of Cultural-Visitor Typologies for Multi-Profile Classification

The modern cultural industry and the related academic sectors have shown increased interest in Cultural User eXperience (CUX) research, since it constitutes a critical factor to examine apply when presenting content. Recent CUX studies show that visitors tend carry their own characteristics preferences visiting destinations of interest, thus obtaining virtually unique experience. To cope with this tendency, various research efforts been made identify different profiles based on background classify them into distinct visitor types. In paper, we proposed ACUX (Augmented eXperience) typology for classifying destinations. aims provide multi-profile classification preferences. Methodology-wise, was output harmonisation process existing cultural-visitor typologies base evaluated juxtaposition harmonised from which derived through an experiment conducted using recommender dataset TripAdvisor user responses. evaluation showed achieved more accurate profiling visitors, enabling reduce information overload by directly suggesting content is likely meet diverse needs.
